Terms of service.

Effective  May 1, 2026 Last updated  May 1, 2026 Governing law  Oklahoma

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of services, websites, and digital products provided by Haugen Operations Group, LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("HOG," "we," "our," or "us"), including the website at haugenoperationsgroup.com, the client portal at portal.haugenoperationsgroup.com, and any work delivered under our assumed names ("DBAs"), including ConnectWorks, LabReportPro, DIY TNT, and engagements under the name Jacob S. Haugen. By engaging us, accessing the portal, or purchasing any product or service, you agree to these Terms.

01Who we are

Haugen Operations Group, LLC is a single-member Oklahoma limited liability company with principal offices at 3000 W Memorial Road, Suite 734, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73120. All work, contracts, invoices, and obligations under any HOG DBA are obligations of HOG itself; the DBAs are trade names, not separate legal entities.

02Services we offer

HOG provides:

  • Advisory and consulting services — strategic, operational, and technology consulting, including AI integration work, delivered under written engagement letters or proposals.
  • Digital products and software — reporting tools, templates, and other digital deliverables, sold as one-time licenses or recurring subscriptions.
  • Educational content — written guides, downloadable resources, and reference materials.
  • Speaking and personal advisory — engagements directly with the principal.

Specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any engagement are defined in a separate written proposal, statement of work, or order confirmation between you and HOG. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement document, the engagement document controls for that engagement.

03Accounts and the portal

To engage HOG for ongoing work, you may need to create an account on the HOG client portal. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your portal credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@haugenoperationsgroup.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that show evidence of unauthorized access, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

04Payments, billing, and taxes

All payments are processed in U.S. Dollars through Stripe, our payment processor. By submitting a payment, you authorize HOG (and Stripe on our behalf) to charge the payment method you provide for the amount stated, plus any applicable taxes.

Subscription products renew automatically at the stated cadence until canceled. One-time engagements and digital product purchases are billed as set out in the relevant proposal or order confirmation. HOG reserves the right to change pricing on prospective engagements; pricing for active engagements is fixed by the engagement document.

Sales, use, and similar transaction taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and may be added to invoices where applicable. HOG self-remits any taxes it is required to collect.

05Refunds and cancellation

Refund and cancellation terms are governed by HOG's Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use HOG services to violate any law or third-party right; (b) reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense HOG digital products or software without written permission; (c) interfere with the portal or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; or (d) use HOG content in a way that misrepresents the firm or its work.

07Intellectual property

All content, software, branding, designs, written materials, and other intellectual property created by HOG and made available through our websites, portal, or DBAs is owned by HOG, except where third-party content is clearly attributed. Engagement-specific deliverables — work product created for a particular client — are licensed or assigned to the client per the terms of the relevant engagement document. Absent a written assignment, the client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the deliverables for the purpose for which they were prepared, and HOG retains all underlying tools, methodologies, and frameworks.

08Confidentiality

HOG treats client information shared in the course of an engagement as confidential. We do not disclose client identities, deliverables, or business information to third parties without consent, except as required by law or as necessary to deliver services through subprocessors (e.g., payment, email, hosting). Clients agree to treat HOG's non-public methodologies, pricing, and proposals as confidential as well.

09Disclaimers

HOG provides services and digital products on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Advisory work reflects HOG's professional judgment but is not legal, tax, or financial advice unless explicitly stated, and clients should consult qualified professionals for those matters.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HOG's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or any engagement is limited to the fees actually paid by the client to HOG for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim. HOG is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement as set out in the engagement document or, if no termination provision exists, on thirty (30) days' written notice. HOG may suspend or terminate access to the portal or any service immediately for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or where required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including IP, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive termination.

12Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms is the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. The parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by direct communication before initiating litigation.

13Changes to these Terms

HOG may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the portal, by email to active clients, or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of HOG services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
